War Looming!

I have been seeing a war looming in Iran for some time now, but have been really reluctant to post this on the blog. There is such a lot of bad news out there and to add to the bad news just did not fit well with me.

Prophetically I am seeing air strikes on Iran and then a rather brief naval skirmish that will totally obliterate Iran's small navy. When (and if) this war will break out, I do not know. What I do see though is that it will affect international relations radically. The world is becoming rather tired of the US of A's no1 export product - war and war machinery!

I consequently want to implore Believers to pray for Father's will to be done on Earth, as it is in Heaven AND for His Kingdom to come on Earth as it is in Heaven.

I believe that 2012 is going to be an eventful year, where Father is going to continue with the shaking of the things of the world system. However, for Believers who want to experience more of His Furious Love and His Relentless Faithfulness, it will be a year of Ruthless Trust and Radical Faith.

Oh - and by the way - I do not believe that 2012 is going to be the end of the world!

Prayers that Count

This morning, as I entered into the Throne room of God, I saw a large number of incense bowls standing on the sea of crystal glass. Our prayers come to the Father through these bowls. I noticed that some prayers gave off a thick white smoke that have a beautiful fragrance, while others barely gives off any smoke.

Should one decide to put one's fear in one's pocket and approach this awesome Father and not stand a distance away, one will soon find out that He is not as fierce as His outward appearance can led one to believe. In fact - there is a longing for deep fellowship with His creation within Him that I find mind-boggling. To think that this awesome Being really want to be part of our lives is astounding to me. And the driving force behind this is the fact that He is LOVE - FURIOUS LOVE. But our notion of what love does not allow furious and love to fit together, does it?

Father God's External Splendour

Greetings!

I pray that you and your family will be greatly blessed by Father God this year; that His hand will be with you; that He will expand your territory and your sphere(s) of influence; and that He will keep you from evil.

We drove all the way from Cape Town, South Africa to Inhambane in Mozambique for a couple of weeks of holiday bliss. And we had a great time swimming in the tropical sea, snorkeling and the like. I also had time on hand to spend in Father's presence. And He has really blown my mind with some of the things that He has spoken to me about.

I would like to share what He has been saying to me, but will have to do it in a couple of blog posts, as it is really deep and I will have to be very careful with how I articulate what He has spoken to me about. And I want to start by explaining about the external splendour of Father God.

Trust that you are well?

I know that I have been very quiet the last couple of months. However, the Holy Spirit has been sharing some things with me about what is coming in 2012 that I wasn't allowed to share just yet. The time to release what He has spoken is now and I will be releasing what I have been hearing Father speak in the new year.

But before I do that, I would like to look back at 2011 and then take a quick look forward at 2012.

Again - Listen to My Voice

I was really encouraged by the word from the Glascow Prophetic Centre this morning - they send out a short prophetic word every weekday. This morning's word was titled 'Listen to my instruction today' and starts off with 'Listen to my counsel today, listen to my word and to my instruction today. Let your day begin with my instruction, my encouragement and my empowering.'

What encouraged me was the fact that they are also picking up in the Spirit that Fatyher is saying that we have to listen to His Voice - exactly what the Holy Spirit spoke to me about yesterday.

Trust Me!

Although Father God has started to shake the Mountains (the world), I am hearing Father God saying that it is for the benefit of Mankind that He is shaking the Mountains. These Mountains have been dominated by powers and principalities for so long that He is wanting to change that.

Father is saying that it is essential that we trust Him for everything! He is the All Sufficient One! He will supply whatever we need. We just need to come to Him and ask!

GLORY Rising

Early this morning - it must have been around 02:00 in the morning, the Holy Spirit woke me up (which He normally does at that time of the night). And as I woke up, I used my spiritual eyes (Eph 1:18 talks of the 'eyes of our heart') to look into the spiritual realm and I saw the entire room full of light. I asked the Holy Spirit what this was about and He said to me that it is the first sign of the Glory of Father God being released through the Body of Christ that will end up in all men seeing the Glory of God.

The Spiritual Realm

God created humans with five physical senses that we use to experience (see, hear, taste, smell and touch things in) the physical world that we live in. But there is a spiritual realm[1] out there in which Father God[2], the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit and a host of Angels, as well as S@t@an and a host of demons live that is as real as the physical realm that we live in. But our natural (physical) senses have not been designed to experience the spiritual realm, with the result that most people think that the spiritual realm does not exist[3]. But the fact that we cannot use any of our physical senses in the spiritual realm does not mean that the spiritual realm is an illusion – the spiritual realm is far more real and lasting[4] than the physical realm. Consequently I am going to post a series of posts on the Spiritual Realm.

Food for Thought - a Kairos Moment?

I believe that the world as we know it are at the point of total melt-down - our self interest have led us to the point where the rich are just getting richer, to the detriment of millions and millions of people and the environment that we live in.

But this also affords us the unique opportunity to question the underlying beliefs that we have held on to for so long that got us to this point. And as we interrogate those beliefs - especially from a Holy Spirit led point of view - I believe Father God will provide us with the wisdom that we need to get out of the mess that we have gotten ourselves into.

We (mankind) are at a KAIROS moment - Kairos (καιρός) is an ancient Greek word meaning the right or opportune moment (the supreme moment) - and that we should see this moment as a gift of God to get mankind back on the right track. I have a sense that there is still a little bit of time left, so I want to encourage all Believers to start seeking Father God about new wisdom from Heaven on:

how we should govern our nations;
run our businesses;
interact with out families and communities;
do church;
even do arts, films, media, fashion, music and sport;
educate our children;
look after our planet;
and living our lives in harmony with Him and one another.

I have been reading a book by Frank Viola and George Barna titled 'Pagan Christianity', in which they make a strong case that the way that the Western World do Church has inherited a lot of stuff from pagan worship. Although I agree in part, I do not agree in full with what they are saying. But it is very interesting to read it, as it highlights how the modern Church got to the point where Jesus is standing OUTSIDE of the Church, knocking on the door to be let in (Rev 3 in the letter to the Laodicean Church).

But the UNSECURED DEBT of the USA is estimated at arouns US$120,000,000,000,000. This is a pile of money that stands much higher than what used to be the World Trade Centre - you can view the graphical depiction here.

Over the last year I have been hearing the Holy Spirit saying that God is going to do a new thing - Isaiah 42:9 NASB "Behold, the former things have come to pass, now I declare new things; before they spring forth I proclaim them to you."

I believe that this new thing that God is doing is that He is going to reveal His glory to all flesh - Isaiah 40:5 NASB "Then the glory of the LORD will be revealed, and all flesh will see it together;" AND Habakkuk 2:14 AMP: 'But [the time is coming when] the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.' The Character of God

The Walls of Jericho

I have been thinking about the Mountain of God and the walls of Jericho and it makes a lot of sense to me that the Mountain of God (symbolic of the establishment of the rule of God, or the Kingdom of God) be established BEFORE the walls of Jericho can come down. Over the Easter weekend I have been seeing a very, very, very large Angelic Gathering assembling in the heavens. The Angelic Gathering has been forming up on a very large, single front and the front is deep (maybe 10 to 12 deep). I also see some movement among the Angels - almost if they are restless. However, on Easter Monday the large Angelic Gathering was no longer visible to me. This puzzled me greatly, because I was expecting a war to take place in the Heavenlies.

Last night in a dream I was in space - high above the Earth - and I could see the planet beneath me. A huge storm was sweeping across the planet and was causing massive waves in all of the Oceans. In the dream I saw a large number of boats and ships being tossed around by these enormous waves. Several of the boats and ships - even very large ocean liners - that were sailing on the Oceans were capsized by the enormous waves and started to sink.

Long Live King Jesus!

This morning I sensed the Holy Spirit saying that the majority of Christian Believers (or simply Believers) knows Jesus Christ as Saviour, but that very few Believers knows Jesus as BOTH Saviour AND Lord. In the post 'Kill the King!' the Holy Spirit is saying that Christian Believers should deny themselves - 'kill' self that reigns in their lives - as King Jesus can only rule and reign in our lives once we have 'killed' self (I am speaking metaphorically). And Jesus wants to rule and reign in our lives, but he cannot do that if we still sit on to throne of our lives.

The Holy Spirit spoke to us, saying that we often try to overcome sin in our lives by fighting the sin. However, the way to really address sin in our lives is to 'Kill the King!' [(2 Chronicles 18:30 MKJV) 'Do not fight with small or great, but only with the King of Israel']. Meaning that we have to intentionally lose our lives (deny ourselves) for His sake.

Matthew 16:24-25 NASB 'Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. "For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.'

Call into a Deeper Relationship

The Holy Spirit is (again) saying that He wants us Believers to walk into a deeper and more intimate minute-by-minute relationship with Father God and His son, Jesus Christ (see post "Come Closer My Children!" and 'Be Mary's, not Martha's'). I believe that we are seeing that Father God has started to shake the World and that the shaking is going to pick up more and more momentum in the time to come. This is going to be two things:

An absolutely glorious time for Believers that are in right standing with God;
A total nightmare for those who are not in right standing with God.

But to have a deeper and more intimate minute-by-minute relationship with Father God and His son, Jesus Christ Believers will have to live Holy lives - the Triune God is Holy and He wants us to be Holy as He is Holy.

The previous post about 'Scales Brought Out' had time to sink into my mind. This morning I am over-whelmed with a sense of dread of God. And I fully realise that I have not been praying for our nation as I should have done. As a result of my prayerlessness there is not sufficient 'Righteousness' on Father's Scales of Justice to outweigh the 'Unrighteousness'. Consequently I want to implore all Believers across the world to start to pray!

Scales Brought Out

As we were watching the sad news of the earthquake and the subsequent tsunami that engulfed communities in Japan, I was praying to Father God to rescue those that are still alive. While I was praying I saw (in the Spiritual Realm) a large balance scale over Japan . The weights on the one side of the balance scale was labelled 'Unrighteousness', while the weights on the other side was labelled 'Righteousness'. The balance scale over Japan was heavily tilted towards 'Unrighteousness'. At this point in time there are large balance scales over each and every country on earth - and in virtually every single country the balance scales are very heavily tilted towards 'Unrighteousness'!

Open Your Mouth Wide!

A while ago I had a vision - I saw the nest of an eagle, made of twigs, high on a rocky ledge. In the nest are three young eagle chicks. The chicks are only a day or two old and they look like balls of fluff with beaks. I then see the father eagle swooping down from the sky and he gracefully lands on the edge of the nest. As he comes swooping in, the chicks spot him and they start clamouring for food. All that one can see of the eagle chicks are beaks. And they are making such a din that it is possible to hear them from a distance away.

Focus on Holiness!

This morning, as I was praying, I sensed the Holy Spirit saying that Christians should focus on Holiness and not on sin. This makes a lot of sense to me - I love mountain-biking and one of the first things that you learn in the sport is not to focus on the tree stumps, or rocks, or other obstacles that you want to avoid, but rather to focus on the path that you want to take through the tree stumps and rocks and the obstacles. We (us humans) were created to achieve that which we focus on - consequently, if you focus on where you do not want to go you will actually drive into the very thing your are trying to avoid! The best way to avoid the rocks and tree stumps and other obstacles is to select a route through these obstacles and to focus on that route - you will then miss all of the obstacles!

Get Out of Debt!

The Holy Spirit has been speaking to me for a while about the coming economic woe's. I believe that we have a short season of grace during which our Heavenly Father wants to bless us so that we can get out of debt. Don't be fooled by this short season of financial prosperity to go deeper into debt - rather use the resources to free yourself from debt!

The Holy Spirit woke me up at around 01:00 on Tuesday night and I was awake for hours. What I normally do when He wakes me up, is that I go into the Throne-room of God and I go and stand on one of the stones of fire (see post 'Invited to stand on the Stones of Fire') that is next to the Throne of God. Vision of the Mercy Seat

Since Wednesday I have been seeing what I believe is the Mercy Seat in Heaven (see Exodus 25) in the Spirit. What I have seen is a seat with two golden, winged lions that are lying down with their paws extended in front of them, facing one another. Their wings were rising straight up from their backs (see verse 20). These golden, winged lions were facing what looked like a golden chair (more like a throne). And on (above) the Mercy Seat, I saw a huge orb of fire that could only be God (see verse 22).

A friend of mine and I went for our usual late afternoon mountain-biking and coming back from this, we both saw legion upon legion of Angels being released from Heaven. The Angel Armies being released from Heaven at this point in time are EPIC! It resembles the penultimate battle of Lord of the Rings - Return of the King.

Mantles Released

I am seeing (in the realm of the Spirit) a large number of Angels coming out of Heaven with Mantles in their hands. My sense is that:

these Mantles are destined for the end-time Body of Christ;
each Mantle has:

God-given purpose;
God-given authority to accomplish it's purpose;
God-given resourcing to accomplish it's purpose;

the Mantles are part of the deep mysteries of God and forms part of His plan to culminate the righteousness of generations of families into the end-time generation.

Fish, Fish and More Fish!

At this morning's meeting of the Fellowship of Good Hope (an inter-denominational group of pastors and full-time ministers working in the Fish Hoek Valley, Cape Town, South Africa), I saw another vision of a tidal wave. But this time the tidal wave was full of fish! My sense is that the end-time harvest is upon us and that people in ministry must get themselves geared to start harvesting - and with haste - this is upon us!

God's Great Army

This morning I sensed that the Holy Spirit was continuing on the theme of UNITY. Joel prophecies of a great and might army (see Joel chapter 2) that will rise up in the LAST DAYS. But if you look at this portion of scripture, it speaks of an army that is UNITED in purpose.

United In Christ Jesus!

I have been having recurring visions of the Throne Room of God - the God-of-the-Angel-Armies - the Ancient of Days - the One True God. In these vision, I saw millions and millions of people standing on the sea of crystal glass and what struck me was the UNITY of the Believers. And the Holy Spirit has been speaking to me about Unity - that those that have the Mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16) cannot be anything but UNITED (Rom 15:5; 1 Corinthians 1:10).

The Two Voices!

In 1 John 4:5-6 John says that there are two voices - the voice of the spirit of error, to which the world listens AND the voice of the Spirit of Truth, to which the sons and daughters of God should be listening. Sunset AND Sunrise!

I have been reflecting on a book by Rick Joiner titled 'The Sword and the Torch' that I have read in June 2010. In the book Rick mentions a vision where he was standing in a valley and on the one side of the valley the Sun was setting, while on the other side of the valley there was also a sun rising. His explanation of this vision was that:

The setting sun on the one side of the valley was indicative that the Dispensation of Grace is coming to an end;
The sun rising on the other side of the valley was indicative that the Millennium Reign of Jesus Christ is upon us!

I Will Not Share My Glory!

So I started to read Habakkuk - and did He speak to me through the scriptures. Day 20

Today is the 20th day of our time of consecration. We both are weak - especially this last week - and we both have lost a lot of weight. But it really has been worth it - the Holy Spirit has been speaking to us in an awesome way (I think and I trust that you agree). For both of us life is getting back to normal - the kids are back at school, etc. - and it has not been easy to pray for as long as we have prayed at the beginning of our time of consecration.

This is my last post documenting our time of consecration. From now on I will be posting things that I feel should be heard - but it will not be on a daily basis - more than likely it will be on a weekly basis. Day 14 - Buy from Me!

I have been praying for REVIVAL for a long time and from my dream (see post 'It is Time!') it seems that Revival is upon us. A good friend of mine asked me this week 'Are you prepared to pay the price for Revival to happen?' And he has an excellent point - if you study all past Revivals, someone had to pay substantially for Revival to happen.

So I studied Revelation 3:18 AMP 'Therefore I counsel you to purchase from Me gold refined and tested by fire, that you may be [truly] wealthy, and white clothes to clothe you and to keep the shame of your nudity from being seen, and salve to put on your eyes, that you may see.'

BUY FROM ME - an interesting choice of words from a Master Oracle. The original Greek word used here is ἀγοράζω - agorazō (pronounced ag-or-ad'-zo), which means to go to market, that is, (by implication) to purchase; specifically to redeem. Could this mean that the gold refined by fire, the white clothes and the eye salve is not free?

Day 13 - It is Time!

Early this morning I had a very significant dream. I dreamt that we were on Fish Hoek Beach (that is in Cape Town, South Africa) at around 03:00 in the morning. It was pitch black outside and only the stars were glittering in the night sky. When we got to the beach there were a lot of other people as well - at a guess it must have been thousands of people. I though that this was really strange - why would such a lot of people be on the beach at 03:00 in the morning?

Day 11 - Are we eating from the Tree of Life, or from the Tree of Knowledge?

Day 10 - Be Mary's, not Martha's

For a long time now the Holy Spirit has been saying to me that He wants Believers to be like Mary and not Martha - He wants us to come and sit at the feet of Jesus, the Christ, and to have a close and intimate relationship with Him. And that from this close and intimate relationship with Jesus, we can walk in obedience.

What I believe the Holy Spirit is saying is that we should not be overly occupied, but take time first to LISTEN and then to OBEY.

Day 9 - Counterfeit Identity OR True Identity?

He was saying that we have adopted our Counterfeit Identities and not our True Identities and that we cannot walk in who we really are (and in obedience to Him) unless we have grasped our true identities.

Day 8 - A Plumb Line

Last night the Holy Spirit had me awake for a long time. He was saying that the Body of Christ is largely walking in disobedience to Him and He is grieved by it. I ended up repenting for a large portion of the night, as I know that I am not walking in obedience as I ought to.

He was saying that He is bringing a plumb line into our lives to bring us back to obedience to Him. And He said that only those who obey the will of the Father will sit at the Marriage Feast of the Lamb (Matt 7:21, Jesus speaking).

This morning we had communion and spend time listening to some worship music. During this time, the Holy Spirit gave me a vision about the Cross of Christ and the fact that Heaven is focused on ensuring that Jesus will get the just reward for His suffering. And Jesus allowed us to address these issues, but then said that we should be bringing the larger issues of life, such as, abortion, sexual immoralities, people trafficking, economic injustices, substance abuse, materialism and the like into the Highest Court.

When we started our early morning prayer meeting, I saw a number of Angels in the room - most notably a blue Angel (the colour blue is normally associated with revelation). Let's Cry Out 'Come Lord Jesus Come!'

One morning while praying, I was standing on the sea of crystal glass and I could see Jesus standing close to the Throne of God. He was looking like the description of Jesus that the Apostle John saw on the Isle of Patmos (see Rev 1:13-17). I could also see the wounds in His hands and feet (He was wearing sandals). It did not look like any of the wounds to His body have healed yet - they all seemed freshly inflicted. But instead of blood streaming out of these raw wounds, I saw light coming from them. And I heard Jesus saying "Is this the generation that will cry out "Come Lord Jesus, COME!"?"
